Here it is. best And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why Hemingway is one of (if not THE) most powerful authors I’ve ever studied. I remember this. I don’t get it….oh….OH. My English teacher had us write 6-word short stories using this beautiful piece of writing as a template.  Mine was: “He hanged from his boyfriend’s belt.”  Is it bad that she cried? oh god. this made me sad.
